Textbooks 101 - A Quick Lesson

  • What Should I Expect?
Although they are a very important part of your education, textbooks are expensive. The Campus Store offers a variety of purchasing options to meet your needs including new, used, rentals, and eBooks.

  • Textbooks are expensive. Is there any way I can get some of my money back?
At the end of the semester you can get up to 50% of your money back during our used book buyback. The amount you receive depends on a number of factors, including whether or not the book will be used again the next semester, store stock levels, condition of the book, and new editions that may be coming out from the publishers.

  • Where Do I Purchase My Textbooks?
Your professors submit a list of course materials to the Campus Store. Each class may have one or more textbooks and other materials assigned to it. Have your schedule on hand when ordering your textbooks to make sure you have the correct course section. The same course with different professors may have different requirements. You can order your textbooks online through Text Xpress, or bring your schedule into the store.

  • Can I Write In My Textbooks?  Feel free to highlight and annotate any New, Used, or Rental Books. This will not affect your ability to return rental books or to sell back books that you purchased.  Take care to avoid water damage, torn bindings, or other physical damage as that will affect return/buyback ability.
